  • Breastfeeding challenges

  • Poor weight gain/failure to thrive - this may be a late sign

  • Sleep challenges - snoring, choking sounds, not sleeping through the night after 6 months of age

  • Mouth-breathing

  • Excessive drool

  • Recurrent ear infections

  • Reflux, colic

  • Solid food transition difficulties


Toddlers & Children

  • Delayed growth

  • Restless or disrupted sleep - the sheets should never look like a tornado came through

  • Mouth-breathing, snoring — NO child should snore

  • Respiratory issues including asthma

  • Behavior/Emotional Well-Being: ADHD, anxiety, depression

  • Historical: speech therapy, previous tongue-tie release as a baby/child, tonsils/adenoids removed

  • Dental/Orthodontics: Grinding, Clenching, TMJ problems, migraines, headaches, history of braces, recent tooth crowding, use of a night guard

  • Historical ENT surgery: repair of a deviated septum, turbinate reduction, challenges with breathing through your nose

  • Digestion concerns/diagnoses: reflux/IBS/constipation/GI issues
