TMJ and headache treatment in Issaquah, near Seattle

Splints and medication often only manage TMJ pain and headaches. At AirSync, we look for the source, whether it’s the muscles, the joint itself, cranial alignment or arthritis, and build a treatment plan aimed at resolving it.

Let’s talk TMJ and headaches

There are a lot of misconceptions about TMJ conditions and headache.  Many treatments are palliative in nature and not curative—medications and splints.  At AirSync, we do a thorough analysis of your joint health, both structurally and functionally.  We then determine the best course of treatment to resolve your symptoms and if you are interested in optimizing the joints for your healthspan, we have solutions for that too.

We determine the source of the TMJ condition – muscles, internal joint issues, alignment of the cranial bones, arthritis or degeneration of the joint.  Depending on what the diagnoses are, we can then create the optimal path to eliminating symptoms and healing that is right for you.

We offer the following options, either singularly or combined to optimize your joint wellness:

  • Cranial TMJ Orthotics made in conjunction with our amazing SOT Chiropractors
  • Emface TMJ Therapy – to calm the muscles associated with TMJ
  • Exomind TMS Therapy – improve neurologic function, blood flow to the brain, and brain detoxing.
  • Photobiomodulation – reduction of joint and muscle inflammation
  • Nutritional counseling/referral for bloodwork
  • Sonu Acoustic Vibration Headband
  • Pulsetto – calming pain pathways, brain blood circulation, calms the nervous system

Definitively once the joints are healed, we need to talk airway architecture and airway orthodontics.  Generally, the upper jaw is too far back and the lower jaw is trapped behind it.  We have the solutions to get the jaws into the correct most comfortable and stable positions.
